Greetings Nightfire players!
It's been a while, but we're back.
If you're interested in re-joining the Nightfire community, we have created a Discord server that already has over 100 members. Follow this invite link to join: https://discord.gg/cmRym8Bg. The server provides a successor to GameSpy Arcade as the place for Nightfire players to hangout.

Nightfire can be downloaded for free at http://nightfirepc.com/downloads/client.php
Be sure to download both the game and the patch, as the patch is now required to see the in-game server list because GameSpy no longer works. If you have any issues installing feel free to reach out on Discord for assistance.
To celebrate the rebirth of the game, the Nightfire Nostalgics team began hosting tournaments in January 2021. Information about previous tournaments can be found on our wiki: https://tinyurl.com/29wyhwjw.

Game format: 8-player deathmatch

Registration is open to any interested players! Please make sure to register by Thursday, September 23rd to allow for tournament admins to create the bracket.

We are also planning a NFBL-style World Conquest tournament to kick off later in the fall! The first edition of World Conquest was held this summer. Details can be found at https://nightfire-nostalgics.fandom.com/wiki/Conquest_(USA). We are looking to grow the player base and number of clans registered in future tournaments.
